Benjamin’s Beaver Creek
5004 W. Otsego Lake Dr., Gaylord, MI 49735
We are so excited to bring this beautiful property into the network of Outdoor Adventures resorts! This all-seasons resort is perfect for winter sports, like snowmobiling and skiing, and is located in America’s summer golf mecca! Not to mention that it’s also a prime location as it’s a short drive from other popular Michigan destinations like Mackinaw City, Traverse City and Petoskey.
There are 31 modern log cabins*, some on The Natural Golf Course and others bordered by beautiful northern Michigan woods. The resort also offers 63 campsites, some modern, paved campsites with full hookups and others that are more wooded with partial hookup. Plus, just 10 minutes away is Gaylord’s downtown area with fine dining restaurants, great shopping, the historic Call of the Wild Museum and much more.
“This is me and my husband’s favorite winter place to come. The cabins are always clean and they have pet-friendly cabins for our two huskies. They have a beautiful pool and hot tub. They have a snowmobile rental on the property, which is perfect. Tons of trails. See you soon!” - Google Review, Stacey F.
There will be endless amounts of things to do at this resort. Being located in the middle of Michigan’s snow belt, you’ll have direct access to hundreds of miles of trails for snowmobiling, and you’ll be able to find ski resorts and more winter amenities just minutes from your campsite. The facilities are also amazing. There is a new indoor pool and a 300’ outdoor water slide. Golf at The Natural will be free** for members!
We are still working on adopting this property to our family of resorts, and reservations are not available yet. We will be sure to let you know when we get closer to being ready!

Just wondering if they are open and what availability there is?
Pamela, this resort is not open under the governor’s current orders. We are also still working on adopting this property and going through all the details. Thank you!
Looks lovely and now a new farther NORTH park… From there go to Big Lake State Park (And visit the Catholic Shrine next door) then on to Then to Straights State Park (UP side of the big bridge) then to Tahquamenon Falls (Just west of Paradise, you’ll be glad you made it) the world 2nd biggest falls in terms of gallons per minute.
Michigan is one big, beautiful state.. one of only 50 Most Beautiful states (Ok so that’s a joke), But in my opinion. near if not at the top of the list
Would like more information/pictures of the resort. When could we make reservations.
Has been a member since the resort began.

Looks nice, but I know the 63 campsites will always be full. Hope you are planning to expand.
I’m interested in how much a cabin rental would be. Where can I locate that information?
We do not have all the information at this time. Please stay tuned in the coming weeks. Thank you!
We visited Benjamin’s Beaver Creek resort last fall, great campground and location. We’re excited that it has now become part of OAI, we can’t wait until we can make a reservation
Please let me know when or how reservations can be made it looks awesome!
How many camp sites for RV’s
How Many camp sites for RV’s ???
Looks cool. Can’t wait to check it out
Sounds great but will need more campsites. this will be in demand as you have not kept up with some of the original campgrounds. Poor roads low sawery sites. We are golfer and this will be a popular site.
We would be interested to know as soon , if not before, reservations open up there. Thanks, the Sterretts
I am very excited to visit this new resort! Looking forward to more details.
Will this be available to stay at as soon as the governor’s orders have lifted?
Hope it’s open by August would love to come stay a week
Looks beautiful! To few sites for RV’ers. Will be booked year around guaranteed.
Please let us know when we can camp there . Can’t wait.
What’s the date for opening
Looking forward to visiting the campground. When can we make resevations.
Beaver Creek members only can make reservations starting today, June 2 at noon, by calling 989-882-1322. Thank you!
Beaver Creek Members only? What all the Outdoor Adventures Members? Why are they being excluded, I know a lot of us would like to be able to make reservations for one of what seems to be limited campsites.
Ben, we just acquired this property and have been working through all the details and hiring new staff. We will be announcing soon when OA members can start making reservations at this resort. Thank you!
Excited that we have this new addition. Please let us know when it is available. Hopefully it will be ready when we take our vacation up north in July.
Looking forward to the time when we can make reservations

We have been members of Beaver Creek for years. Not many people seem to camp there, it is always easy to reserve a spot. It is a beautiful place with some nice amenities, but we feel more needs to be put into the actual campground part. We look forward to be able to camp there again this year, and look forward to what the new owner brings.
Please let me know when I can get a reservation

Would love to rent a log cabin.
What a great addition to Outdoor Adventures! We look forward to being able to stay at this camp! Beautiful area…. Thanks the Pickards
Northern Michigan is open, so can we make reservations for this campground? I am interested asap.
Are the RV/travel trailer spots paved? If not, are the parking spots smooth, not like Davison where we have to deal with deep pot holes on the roads and the campsite. Otherwise excited to visit this new location.
More pics would be nice. Sure hoping you are planning on adding more camp sites?! 60 some is not very many. If you do add more sites, make sure they are full hook up site, please. That is one thing lacking with ODA parks, there needs to be more full hook up sites.!
I am a bit confused, why would you start the email message out as being a proud owner and in the next paragraph state owners cannot make reservations to the campground? usually if you own you can use what you’ve purchased, or does your comment pertain to the stay at home order?
We were announcing the acquisition of the resort and now we are working through figuring out details of adopting the resort into our network.
Do you have to have an active reservation at the golf course to utilize it, or just show your membership card after making a tee time?
Also, is there an estimated date that reservations for this location will be available for request?
We bought our ODA member through a private party. Will we be able to use beaver Creek?
So are you able to make a reservation at the Gaylord campground or we still have to wait?
Hello, do you think the resort will be open by August 8th?
Hello, do you think the resort will be open by August 8th? We have a membership with Outdoor Adventure.
We own both a beaver Creek (have for many years) and outdoor adventure membership. Beaver Creek is a nice park, the camp ground is split into two sides around a pond, the full hookup on one side with paved lots and then the partial hookups on the opposite side wooded and all grass and gravel sites. The full hookup side has really needed a new well for the water for quite a few years as the water is very rusty and turns you sinks and toilets and all your pipes red with rust, even with a duel filter system, so it’s something I hope Oda will fix. The cabins are privately owned and the cabin owners have had a deal in the past with beaver Creek to make them available to the park guests. We were informed by beaver Creek, that, that was ending after this summer, at least the big cabins and that any current beaver Creek members had to go through the golf club to make reservations for this summer. If the cabin owners continue with some kind of deal with the new ownership is yet to be seen. We know that some of the cabin owners have put them up for sale.
When will ODA members be able to make reservations @ the Beaver Creek location. Is there a map of the location available / if so , where?
Good afternoon, Welcome to the ODA family. what are the costs to rent a snowmobile in the winter? what are the renal cost of the cabins?
Daniel – we do not own the cabins or snowmobile rentals. They are part of a separate company and condo association. We will make sure we get the contact information to everyone about who to call for this information. Thank you!
Hello, When will Outdoor Adventure members be able to reserve Beaver Creek?
It appears only Beaver Creek members can call and reserve now. Will this carry though the whole summer camping season?
Thank you.
That is correct, Rhonda, but we will be announcing more information on this soon. Thank you!
Looks like a great campgrounds. Do you have any idea when you will be taking reservations?
We will be announcing more information soon. Thank you!
Are OA able to use the campground yet? Who do I contact about cabins?
Yes, we opened this resort to OA members on July 1. For all cabin rentals at this resort, please call 989-732-1785. Thank you and happy camping, Brian!
