Lake Shore Resort makes a splash with $1 million pool renovation

Outdoor Adventures’ Lake Shore Resort in Davison reopens its indoor pool today after a large one-million-dollar renovation. The project consisted of rebuilding the entire dome structure and building a new pool, hot tub and restrooms. The poolhouse was unable to open earlier this year due to executive orders from Governor Whitmer surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, but we’re excited to be able to open it now for our members and guests.

“This project took us longer than anticipated. It took eight months right off the bat to rebuild the poolhouse,” said Bill Cook, Director of Operations. “But everything was done to the highest standards and this structure is going to last.”

The poolhouse is not only built well, but the pool inside is beautiful and large with 35,000 gallons of water. The new hot tub is large as well with 1,500 gallons of water. There is an ADA accessible lift chair in each so all of our members and guests can enjoy these new amenities. If you can’t make it out to the resort, check out this video to see it!

“I’m so proud of this resort and the work that’s been done here,” Outdoor Adventures CEO Jason King said. “It’s been long-awaited by our members, but I know they are going to love it.”

This project is only one of many major developments at Outdoor Adventures’ resorts across the state. You can read more about the expansion project at Kalamazoo Resort here.

Pool hours are 10 am – 10 pm every day with an adult swim from 9 – 10 pm. We also have adult aerobics every Monday through Friday at 9 – 10 am. To read how we are safely opening our indoor pools, please visit www.outdooradventuresinc.com/covid19plan.

Happy swimming! 🏊‍♀️
