Today, we’re going to share some fun facts about Outdoor Adventures with you!

• Kayaking and paddle boating are free for resort guests!
• Lake Shore Resort has a movie theater in the Dome to give you and your kids some fun downtime.
• Saginaw Bay Resort and Mount Pleasant Resort are minutes from local casinos!
• Lake George, which Lake of the North sits on, is an all-sports lake. You can bring your water toys and have extra fun!
• Putt putt golf is free to guests of the resorts.
• Halloween, which is celebrated the first Saturday in October, is one of the most-loved and busiest days of the year!
• Reservations lines are open extended hours from May 1 through Labor Day! Current hours are 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday and from 9am to 5pm on Saturday.
• Wilderness Resort is located in Omer, which is said to be the smallest city in Michigan.
• Lake Michigan is less than 10 minutes from two of our resort: Kalamazoo and Grand Haven.
• Canoes and tubes are for rent at Rifle River Resort so that you can enjoy the day on the river!
• There is a water park, including a lazy river, at Lake Shore Resort.
• Grand Haven Resort has go-karts just waiting for you!
• The Saginaw Bay is close to several of our resorts. The Bay is a great place for fishing, boating, and more.
• Bring your fishing gear with you when you visit us, as most of our resorts have great fishing holes on site!
• Mount Pleasant Resort is located nearby to Central Michigan University. Fire up, Chips!
• Kalamazoo Resort is located nearby to Western Michigan University. Go, Broncos!
• Secure storage is available at all eight of our resorts.
• Saginaw Bay and Lake Shore resorts are open year-round. Yes, you can camp in the winter!
• Planned activities are available to guests throughout the peak season (Memorial to Labor Day).
• When you reserve a campsite, you can stay on it in a fifth wheel, travel trailer, RV, pop-up camper, or tent.
• Both Lake Shore Resort and Saginaw Bay Resort put on large fireworks displays for Independence Day! This year, the shows will be on July 2.
• Outdoor Adventures celebrated its 20th year in business in 2015!
